Pros

Great place to expand phone sales experience by learning from management as well as learning on the fly while you get to speak and negotiate with high level executives from all over North America. Healthy sales environment with great competition.

Cons

Commission only so you have to be prepared for a slow month. Almost completely cold calling, it's pretty rare that you have someone call in ready to buy.

Pros

I worked for this company for three years, and the only reason I left was because I moved out of the area. Unlimited income potential with high commissions for both new and renewal business. Good support. Comfortable friendly, helpful work environment with everybody in the office from the top down. No limits put on how much money you can make if you make the calls and put in the effort. Great hours that allow you to have a life - out of the office by 3pm every day.

Cons

The sales cycle can be long when pursuing larger accounts, but the reward is there with big payoffs if you stick with it.

Pros

You would get out by 3 pm.

Cons

The employer broke the labor law and required regional sales managers to work from 7 am - 3 pm, with a 30-minute lunch but would not even pay a minimum wage. This was an employee job that was paid as commission-only. So you would have pay periods without a paycheck. Totally illegal in California. A depressing work environment.
