Pros
Flexible hours, great products, and a positive work environment. Training was thorough and employees had the opportunity to become certified opticians. The managers really cared about their employees as well as the customers.
Cons
The commission structure for sales associates could have been better. Sales were rewarded based on the team's productivity rather than on an individual's. I understand that this was probably to encourage team work, however if all team members weren't pulling their weight, then the whole team suffers. However, being awarded commissions in a part-time retail environment is a benefit regardless.
