Pros

A free pair of glasses after working there for 1 year Vision insurance through Eyemed is included as an automatic benefit as an employee of Luxottica (it includes a free eye exam- with review of retinal photos, and some coverage for contact lens exam) Employee and family discount sale every few months on glasses Usually decent flexibility is offered for part time and full time schedules

Cons

Large retail company, doesn't value its employees as much as it should Employees are underpaid for the amount of work that they do Have to become apprenticed if you want to advance in the company Policies and regulations are always being changed and employees have to adapt quickly, even though that new policy that was just learned may be changed again the next month. The overall structure of operation is a bit unorganized Management typically has employees that they prefer over others, and often are not motivational to their team
