Pros

Relaxing environment Expectation of employees are low Friendly staff

Cons

Management have no clue what they're doing - their "directors" have a long fancy title that means nothing Employees have no voice Not diverse at all, probably less than 10% ethnic minorities in the company - shocking because London and their clients are so diverse! Only one female developer, majority of women work in admin or test Only one female in upper management HPD have an old way of working and stuck into their ways Their softwares not any good and very 1990s I think most people are demotivated, if you walk through the office the majority are browsing the web for most of the day Never get pay rises, not on merit anyway. Pay is low (matches to the level of work) Boring, so boring infact it will stunt any career growth you had Male dominated (if I haven't eluded to that already)

Thank you for taking the time to complete your review of HPD. You will be pleased to hear that since you left the company and we have made tremendous progress in the points that you raised. - By reviewing our recruitment process, we are now ensuring that our workforce is becoming more and more diverse. And it has so far really paid off with some excellent new people joining the team. - We have been addressing our former parity issue and now 40% of our staff at management level are female. It is still quite difficult to ensure parity at all levels of the organisation due to the nature of our business, but we are generally making progress in that specific direction and we will continue to think of new ways to ensure everyone has a chance to join HPD and progress their career. - There is more than one channel used by our employees to be heard: Our employee forum, with employee representatives selected by the staff, has been very effective to address some general concerns within the company. Additionally, their line manager and our HR Manager is more than happy to listen and address individual employees’ queries. - As we are currently growing, we want to ensure that our current employees and future employees will (continue) to be happy to work with us. Therefore, you will be glad to know that we are looking at new ways of working and ensuring that our benefit and reward package stay competitive. - We are doing some exciting developments with our product suite , in particular around UI and UX. We are increasing our customer base monthly and the HPD team are producing some really fantastic software.

• Some of the technology feels outdated, but the company is working on improving this. • The main product requires a lot of business knowledge, which can take time to learn.

Nice colleagues but they are all suffering and leaving

As in the title, no improvements made to any problems the company has faces.
