Pros

Vision of Lendistry is awesome. The majority of the executives exemplify the vison and the idea of what Lendistry claims to be and what they strive to be. I believe they can accomplish their goals if they root out the bad before it's too late. Cost of medical/dental/vision benefits are starting to go down This is the first company I've been in that has such a diverse executive staff. A lot of strong women to look up to if you are a woman seeking to grow your career.

Cons

The engineering department under the current CTO is extremely toxic. If you do something that the CTO does not agree with, you run the risk of getting yelled at. A few people even had their job threatened. So a lot of people are keeping their mouth shut for fear of retaliation. CTO does not believe in Agile and says that "Agile Scrum" will not work in this environment. But he will not provide a roadmap of a process to follow. You can do one thing one month, something happens and he makes you redo the entire "process" while making comments implying we were doing something wrong the whole time. No consistent, stable guidance. He has given his "key players" authority to deny and refuse software update requests from the business. And he admittedly works in an environment of interruption...which means you have to interrupt him. And that means he will interrupt you and pull you out of meetings. He's more of a dictator than a leader and does NOT fit the environment the other executives have created in the other teams.

Pros

-nice offices -free snacks and drinks -that's about it

Cons

It's impressive how fast this company went downhill. Half the company has left because leadership couldn't care less about the well-being of their employees. No one actually cares about the mission and leadership is extremely performative and fake. CEO and COO are married and truly only care about self gain. No Growth (for employees or the company) Takes minimum 4 years to even be considered for a promotion (was told this by senior leadership). Takes over 2 years to receive a raise. Doesn't matter if you exceed expectations and receive stellar reviews, the company is BROKE and counts on you to be complacent so they don't reward good work. Money is constantly mismanaged and I wouldn't be surprised if it went out of business in a few years. The company doesn't have enough capital to fund the loans of their customers or give employees bonuses and raises but they love to sink money into useless things like sponsoring THREE WNBA teams. Micromanaging HR will send threatening emails for being on your phone and stalk your badge scan-ins and time in office even though they are rarely stay the full time in office and are always on their phones. Team members are blasted on the office TV's with their picture and full name that shows all of their work stats. Extremely violating and unnecessary. In 2025 they downloaded an AI monitoring software on all computers that tracks your key strokes and mouse movements. Return to Office Anyone 40 miles from an office (absurd radius) must come into an office and stay 8.5-9 hours even though half the company is still remote. There are no exceptions and no flexibility, unless you are HR of course. Feeling a bit sick but can still work? Can't work from home, forced to use PTO. Have an appointment? Forced to use PTO. Benefits 3 weeks of PTO (sick and vacation time) but note you DO NOT accrue PTO while on PTO so you really end up with less than 3 weeks per year if you use it at all. Health and dental are subpar. Pay Terrible and well below market average but you can probably already tell that from the job listing you came across. Did I mention no one ever gets raises? No merit raises, no cost of living adjustments, just the same under-market salary you got tricked into taking.

We appreciate that you highlighted aspects of the workplace you enjoyed, including our office environment.
