Pros
This is a review based on a few years back when I used to work in Lemonsky. - Friendly colleagues (Most of them) that sometimes we bought snakes for each other to cheers each other up. - Party on every event. - Simple snakes in the pantry. - 12 days annual leaves. - 12 days sick leaves. - It's a good place to gain experience if you are fresh.
Cons
When I joined the company there were few advantages but soon after they start to grow, their goal totally switches from art to business more like factory sort of business, it was a very sad situation and most of the employees left the company disappointed. - No health and insurance card. - Artist pays for working visa. (Company charge RM12,000 for the visa while the original price was RM2500) - Lots of overtime, even during weekends and holiday and if the next day we were late for 2 min we receive salary deduction (let's not to forget that company turn air-condition off to save electronic bill). - No parking. - No training. - No accommodation. - Promotion without increasing salary. - Limit artist to access to the internet. - Every project we worked on was and still is confidential, we never get any screenshot of what we done even as a private portfolio and very few people were lucky enough to see their name in the project's credit, in general, we didn't really take credit for our hard work. - A tricky contract, all of the artist works belong to the company during the contract period. - No bonus after finishing any project, but there was a bonus after 2 years which was not even 1/4 of the salary. - Most of the leads and supervisor had very little knowledge, even some supervisor didn't even have programming knowledge to be a pipeline supervisor, or in another word, those people stay longest in the company get these title. - Artists don't have a voice, very hierarchy structure.
