Pros

Working as a Talent Acquisition Manager at Legends was an exhilarating experience, offering ample opportunities for growth and impact. Spearheading transformative changes in recruitment strategies, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring seamless employee integration were among the highlights of my role. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, I contributed to fostering innovation and success within the organization. Employee Integration: The focus on conceptualizing and implementing comprehensive onboarding strategies facilitates seamless new hire integration, accelerating time to productivity. This ensures that new hires quickly become valuable contributors to the organization, enhancing overall team efficiency. Collaborative Environment: The emphasis on effective collaboration with internal stakeholders promotes talent development and cross-departmental alignment. This collaborative environment encourages teamwork and innovation, contributing to overall organizational success. Notable Achievements: The opportunity to contribute to significant achievements, such as leading recruitment efforts for the Legends Global Partnerships team and orchestrating the recruitment of the Legends Global Sales team, showcases the impactful role Talent Acquisition Managers play in driving organizational success.

Cons

However, the fast-paced nature of the sports and entertainment industry sometimes challenged work-life balance, and meeting high expectations in a competitive landscape required dedication beyond standard working hours. Despite resource constraints and navigating high-stakes projects, such as securing major deals, the opportunity to make a tangible impact in such a dynamic industry made it all worthwhile.

Pros

If you get in a clique the people are nice

Cons

- The pay is incredibly low for salaried employees - work hours, you're on call essentially 24/7 because you always have to be reachable if you aren't on site. - there's a reason why SoFi has a strike going on
