Pros
Interview process - was long but more casual than other companies. Had a final group interview which was very casual and allowed me to speak with senior executives and talk about what kind of culture I am hoping for and getting to know them as individuals. Onboarding - very streamlined and quick! Security practices - very strict policies but there are ongoing trainings and conversations with infosec team so you feel constantly supported Stand ups - love the diversity and product stand ups - they provide valuable insight into what the company is working on. I feel comfortable asking questions to higher ups and everyone treats you with respect. Culture - excellent culture, you can ask anyone any questions. Collaborative and supportive environment. No micromanaging - you get to take ownership of your projects and feel valued. Excellent work life balance, remote/hybrid culture. HR and payroll is excellent - can reach out to them at any time. Everyone is very friendly and kind. Salary and benefits - salary is definitely above market rates, stock options, maternity/parental top up benefits, health insurance is excellent and offered from day 1, lot of IT accessories (stand up desks, ergonomic chairs, monitors, keyboard mouse etc)
Cons
Not many cons - but would be great if we’re offered RRSP match, learning budget for further studies, maybe some workout benefits that are offered by other companies.
