Pros

Learners Cortex is not a registered company, so there is absolutely no job security and none of the basic benefits that legitimate companies provide, such as provident fund or proper employee policies. The management is extremely toxic — they push you to get work done but delay or deny payments. There is no real training or industry exposure; instead, they take advantage of employees at every possible stage and treat them as disposable. Leave policies are very restrictive, and the salary is far below industry standards. Overall, it’s not a healthy or sustainable place to work.

Cons

Management shows very little respect for employees — the work environment often feels exploitative, and you are expected to work under constant pressure. There is no real training or meaningful industry exposure, and employees are treated more like replaceable labor than valued contributors. Even if you deliver results far beyond expectations, the salary hike is typically only 1–2%, which is demotivating and unfair.

Pros

My experience working at Learners Cortex (Magoosh) was overwhelmingly negative, to the point that I strongly regret ever joining. I spent over a year giving everything I had to this company—working hard, driving sales, and helping significantly grow their revenue. In return, I felt completely undervalued, unappreciated, and taken advantage of. Despite contributing far more than what was expected, I never received any increment or recognition. The situation became even worse when I decided to resign. The full-and-final settlement process was handled in a way that made me feel disrespected, harassed, and deeply stressed. I did not receive what I believed I was owed, and the entire exit process left a lasting negative impact on me. After leaving, I personally felt that my future job opportunities were harmed due to negative comments made about me, which was incredibly discouraging and unfair. Throughout my time there, I also observed or heard about multiple other employees facing similar treatment, which made the environment feel toxic and unsafe. I also heard from others about serious issues involving harassment, including incidents affecting female employees, which was extremely alarming to me

Cons

Felt heavily overworked and undervalued despite contributing significantly to revenue growth. No increments or recognition during my entire tenure, regardless of performance. Extremely stressful and unpleasant resignation process; full-and-final settlement was not paid. Personally felt harassed and unsupported during exit formalities. After leaving, I felt that negative comments about me affected my future job opportunities. Workplace culture felt toxic and discouraging, with many employees expressing similar frustrations. Heard about multiple concerning incidents involving employee mistreatment, including issues raised by female colleagues. Overall environment felt unsafe, unprofessional, and damaging to my career growth
