Pros

Fully remote working environment with flexible location options.

Cons

The company lacked many of the modern product management, design, and research practices that are considered standard in leading UK, US, and international technology companies. As a result, product decisions often appeared to be driven by individual opinions rather than user insights, research findings, or measurable data. Decision-making was highly centralized, with significant influence concentrated in a small number of individuals. This limited meaningful collaboration and reduced the ability of Product Designers and other specialists to contribute effectively within their areas of expertise. User research and customer feedback were not consistently integrated into the product development process, making it difficult to validate decisions against real user needs. Despite having access to customer insights, these were not always reflected in product priorities or strategic decisions. Communication and alignment across teams could be challenging, resulting in unclear priorities, shifting requirements, and uncertainty around ownership and direction. Product development often felt reactive rather than guided by a clear long-term vision and well-defined strategy. The organization would benefit from stronger product leadership, clearer processes, greater transparency in decision-making, and a more collaborative culture that values expertise, user-centered design, and evidence-based product development.

Pros

* Remote-first work arrangement * Collaborative, friendly culture * Professional growth / learning opportunities * Flexible work-life balance

Cons

Nothing really to report rather than the remote work can challenge the teams that work together in a common challenge. Sometimes can be difficult to move things faster to deliver.

Pros

Competitive salary and good equipment. Exposure to a wide variety of tools and AI-focused projects. Opportunity to see a high-level tech stack, even if some parts are outdated.

Cons

Management and team integration are lacking; onboarding for new developers is minimal. Some technologies and practices are outdated and don’t fully align with modern industry standards or interview expectations. Team culture can feel cold and unwelcoming, with a tendency toward micro-management and overemphasis on following unwritten “culture rules.”. Asking for help often goes unanswered, and HR can intervene in ways that make communication feel tense. High level of internal chaos makes it difficult to manage projects effectively.
