Pros

- There are great people who try their best every day and are a pleasure to work with - Nice offices. - Some teams function together better than others. Most problems are organization wide

Cons

- Reactive product management and development. When a big new project is won, it will suck up all the resources and focus from the company. Due to this developing new features or caring for existing customers might get delayed. - LeadDesk is a rather new company, but the culture is from the past. There are problematic behavior and lack of trust towards employees. Everything regarding HR-operations or culture is regulated like its the law. Yet it is expected for you to show leniency towards the company. - LeadDesk has great employees and talent in the company who are leaving due to the working environment being difficult to handle. This has not affected how business is being conducted at the company and no changes have been done. - The company is "scaling up" constantly and yet there is not enough money spent on building something sustainable and the focus is extremely short-term. - Amount of responsibility, expectations and goals set are not matching the salary level or possible for a single person to handle. - No transparent communication from the director-level and C-level management towards employees or the teams. - No opportunities to give feedback to the C-level management.

Pros

- Coworkers are nice - People respect your personal life, so work-life balance is good

Cons

- Salaries are low, and salary reviews are pushed back. Your starting salary will be your salary for the whole time you're at the company unless a miracle happens - The CEO micromanages work he isn't an expert in, resulting in worse project outcomes. This makes people feel undervalued and lowers the quality of work - High employee turnover, no longevity in projects because of information loss with the turnover. It's also demotivating to see people leaving - Too much focus on sales in a product company, it feels like every other function is underfunded and underappreciated in the culture - Internal decisions are not explained through strategy, and internal communication is poor - There are no growth opportunities. Being proactive or doing extra work is not appreciated and will actually be either undermined or questioned by the CEO. It's not a supporting environment for go-getters or people who want to go above and beyond
