      Technology is interesting, although it is getting worth since it became CA Technologies

      Cons

      Politics, politics. Fighting between people for positions. If you want nervous and stressful environment - you welcome. Hiring process is horrible and long.

      Pros

      Flexible working style (working at office or at home as needed). Great salary paid. The header office is in the center of Downtown Vancouver, very convenient for commute.

      Cons

      No much downsides at Layer 7. Probably we want it to enter into the real stock market. We wish we can get more bonus for non-commission employees.

      9-5ers will be happier as developers at L7 than hacking-is-my-life types.

      Too much focus on the product, not enough on the platform
