Pros
Some of the professional staff are the best people you'll ever meet even though they are miserable. Scattered throughout the company are good people who will try to assist a new hire.
Cons
Management lacks competence and vision. A sycophant is preferred to the able employee who has the temerity to have an opinion. Company has completely lost sight of its core purpose. Managers clearly unable to perform the most basic aspects of their job are kept on and only add to the misery of those who report to them. CEO has a fetish for policies and procedure. Each new policy seemingly aimed at destroying what morale is left.
