Pros

Phenomenal execution of marketing strategies and campaigns for clients. Team is top notch and everyone cares a tremendous amount about the success of clients. Executive team is beyond supportive of all members of team and weekly check ins are extremely valuable for mentoring all employees. CEO believes people come first and has demonstrated this across the team with countless examples of making sure her team is happy, healthy, and supported.

Cons

Sometimes communication between team members is siloed.

Pros

- Fun team outings scattered throughout the year - Weekly team meetings to assess workload and get to know each other better - Weekly one-on-one's with management to assess workload and outlook--do you like what you're doing?, are you under stress?, etc. - Hiring process that considers every team member, so that the only the right people--in terms of qualifications AND culture fit--are added to the team, which contributes to... - An awesome group of co-workers! - Feeling of autonomy--flexible work schedule and mostly individual, self-managed work as opposed to group work. - Though you're in charge of your tasks and managing yourself, you always have the full support of management; they make themselves available to give advice, brainstorm, help in any way. You can also leverage the different skill sets of team members to help with different parts of your own work. - Plenty of opportunity to grow. Feedback is readily available, so that you can learn from shortcomings or be rewarded for good performance. Culture encourages learning by offering Lunch & Learns, certification testing, and event attendance opportunities. - Generally a very relaxed environment and an office space with great views and work areas

Cons

Turnover rate has been high in the past few months, which is especially disappointing when you really like your coworkers. But in my experience, tenures in this line of work are generally short. And if you take advantage of management's willingness to support and accommodate you, there is little reason to consider leaving. Just make sure it's the small agency culture that you're truly looking for--sometimes people say that's what they want, but then they find out it's not.
