Pros

Launch Agency is easily the best company I had the opportunity to work for. Coming from almost 5 years from two different corporate-owned agencies under Omnicom this place was just so refreshing and truly like family. After my experience here, I'll never go back to corporate and much rather prefer working at a private company like this one. Decades of experience in the industry, great clients, work on good work and fresh ideas, and it was so much fun to work here to be honest. Their creative outlook and quality of work was surprisingly alot better than any of the work I did for these larger corporate companies and every member of the team is vital and important to the company. You do wear alot of hats and entreprenaur spirit is recommended, but in the end you really do feel special, no matter what role you are in. The principles and coworkers at Launch actually and truly care about their employees and really accommodating to any needs for work and life. The work and life balance is un-matched and one of the best qualities about the agency. The momentum of the company as well is very exciting. I left right before it was starting to take off, with their branding, the social media planning, the new location and agency website and look, so really exciting time to join the company if you do. I do hope to come back or partner again with the Launch Agency, they are some of the coolest cats, I've had the pleasure to work with. They offer a ton of great perks that previous reviews have mentioned. Culture Commitee rocks!

Cons

I left because of a career path change and to train under an animation mentor. There's alot of good opportunities here, and employees have left to advance in their careers and skills only to come back again in a couple of years. Because it is a smaller company, you do want to come in knowing your craft or be on top of your game, so you can self-teach everything else in the fast-pace ad agency world.

Pros

The three ad executives are savvy, smart, and kind. It is a small but powerful ad agency with creative geniuses. I loved the small family feel and the non-corporate way of doing things. They treat their employees well.

Cons

The only con for me personally was commuting. That isn't anything on the agency, of course.

Pros

A small advertising agency with friendly people and experienced management. The Principals (management staff) are super nice, helpful, and quite hands-on. Due to the size of the agency, there is a family-like feel to the office. The management also helps to take care of its staff by providing a kitchen with free coffee & great snacks, offering free weekly yoga classes, and encouraging office camaraderie. The agency itself has won many industry awards and has an extremely talented staff. This specific position can be slightly stressful due to the amount of work and responsibility that it requires, but the work hours are normal and they don't ask you to work evenings or weekends. The Principals are also flexible and willing to help you. This position requires someone who is capable of handling several projects at the same time, very people-oriented, a fast-learner, proactive, very organized and responsible. Overall, Launch Agency is a great place to work!

Cons

Due to the size of the agency, there are not a lot of opportunities for advancement and that can sometimes lead to a higher turnover rate. Now, these next items on the list are not necessarily cons but something to consider as well. The office tends to have a younger staff and more modern vibe. Also, even though there is a lot of work to do with this position, there can be a lot of downtime during the day. This is important if you need a job with a very structured day because with this specific position, you as the employee tend to structure your own day and are given projects along the way.
