Pros

I have worked for Lasting Image for 5 years now. I was hired for a part time position but on some days find myself working longer, to be able to get the tasks accomplished for the day. Working here is not a watch the clock, can’t wait to be done job. Most of us (employees) enjoy coming to work every day, for me coming into work each morning is like going to see family and friends. Everyone works as a team and goes above and beyond their job descriptions when needed. Rick and Linda strive to treat all of their employees like family. They ask employees for fresh ideas and suggestions to keep everyone involved as a team and to help grow their business. They participate in numerous community events and encourage you to be a part of them as well. I have worked for many companies along the way and I am very glad that I found Lasting Image. Their moto “whatever it takes” definitely holds true with both their customers and employees

Cons

I have nothing bad to say about this company

Thank You for the very nice review. Linda and I work very hard to deliver the best possible service to our customers...the real CEO of our company. We do our best to ensure our team delivers what we commit to our CEO (Customers) no matter what. That does drive some stress for some, while others understand and love it. We really do try hard to be as fair as we possibility canto the entire team , to offer an environment to communicate freely and to give back to the community (those less fortunate than all of us). We appreciate all you do for us and for your length of time and commitment.

Pros

The benefits. Feeling of camaraderie from the other co-workers that were not management. Overwhelmingly good customer service to clients. In sales, there were many opportunities.

Cons

The price of excellent service is paid by demoralizing the employees. Deviate from their Core Values slightly and get berated for not following the rules. Management always uses the same phrases like "I know enough to be dangerous" to demonstrate faux dominance in a field they do not have experience in. One is free to give input or suggestions but be prepared to handle rejection a lot from management because they will already have an idea they were going to go with anyways. Many co-workers are there because they have no where else to go or are too afraid of losing their benefits which really brought morale down. Witnessed co-workers be yelled at in the public areas (not in a closed office) on more than two occasions. The printing department seemed really out of place and had a lot of bugs in their system.
