Pros

The staff and that's about it

Cons

This place is what God intended to be hell on earth; there's no other way to put it. It's dehumanising, belittling, with HR managers who are slaves to the reckless ambitions of a greedy, man-child of a CEO who scams crypto customers and runs the place like a dictatorship. People are sacked for terrible reasons, they will go without pay for months, the office contains a background speaker to "inspire" motivation and productivity but ends up wearing everyone down. People can be fired en masse by the CEO - who is too scared to do it himself - without any prior warning or explanation and then have to chase after pay. Everything about this place is a sham, it's run by fraudsters who chucked away their moral compasses chasing money. It was held together by a talented crew of writers and graphic designers, nothing more. And the positive reviews you see on here? They're all fake, as people were incentivised with money to write fake Glassdoor reviews.

Pros

1. I met not only incredible coworkers but incredible people. I will take them as friends for life. 2. Work-life balance.

Cons

1. Lanistar often delays paying wages. During the 6 months I worked for Lanistar, it delayed paying my salary 4 times. One time for about two weeks and another time for 6 months!!! ***IF YOU EVER DECIDE TO WORK FOR LANISTAR, DEMAND THAT THEY PAY YOUR SALARY IN ADVANCE. 2. Although they hire professionals as contractors, these professionals are effectively employees under English law. They are expressly informed by the HR team that: a. they must only work in the office, i.e. there is no possibility of working from home; b. they must be in the office at 10 am, otherwise they will receive a warning; c. they have exactly 60 minutes for lunch and, if they are late, they will receive a warning; d. they have exactly 30 minutes of break in the afternoon and, if they are late, they will receive a warning; e. they are prohibited from using their own computers, mobile phones or email addresses; f. they have holidays, according to the employment laws; g. among others. ***IF YOU ARE NOT SURE WHETHER YOU ARE ACTUALLY A CONTRACTOR DESPITE SIGNING A CONTRACTOR CONTRACT, DO SOME RESEARCH!!! 3. Lack of transparency. 4. Disrespect with regard to its employees, suppliers and customers.
