Pros
Work at home. Don't have to spend money on gas for work. Opportunity to pick up more hours. Bridging the language gap.
Cons
Everything. Worst management. Terrible pay. No means of communication with fellow employees. They employ incompetent interpreters. Every single time the phone rang, it was like Russian roulette. You could get something as simple as filling out an application to extremely complicated legal proceedings that could severely affect someone else's life if not executed properly. There are rigorous tests for court proceedings for interpreters and of course none of those tests were ever given. I got court hearings that I wasn't trained to handle and got written up because I did the ethically correct thing one time and opted out to give the call to a court certified interpreter. Talking about concerns was like talking to a brick wall. Terrible ongoing training. They don't trust or stand by their employees. They've gotten sued multiple times, which speaks for itself. Pay is horrendous compared to what you can get with contract jobs. Don't waste your time.
