Contract Interpreter - All Call Contract Interpreter Language Services Associates Employee Review

Pros

You are able to work from home, exposed to many scenarios to enrich your vocabulary. There is no travel necessary nor wardrobe

Cons

For contractors they pay a per minute rate that each contractor negotiates between them and LSA. However, even though the contract says, "per minute", if your interpretation lasts 59 seconds and not the whole minute, then you don't get paid for the partial minute. You get $0. But the customer is charged for the minute. Every over-the-phone agency I have worked for as a contract interpreter paid the partial minute. BUT NOT LSA! Contract Interpreter BEWARE!
