Pros

They provide a TEFL course and internship for those who need one, which - while not providing a certificate as a CELTA would - was a thorough, useful course with good feedback that prepares you for teaching in Russia, and is great if you want to spend a year in Russia, but don't have teaching qualifications. If you do have a CELTA or experience, you can go in at a higher level. There was ongoing support and resources and it basically seemed a well run company.

Cons

Schedules, especially for newly qualified teachers, could sometimes be really tough, with 30 hours teaching a week that might not always be in the same place. Schedules could change without much notice, which may be stressful.

Pros

Good opportunity to get paid to travel. The company invests in you, so the pay might not seem competitive at first, however great opportunities to travel and gain experience.

Cons

Don't always have consecutive weekends

Pros

Working at Language Link gave me good experience working in a cross-cultural environment. I moved to Russia to improve my Russian and become immersed in another country, while being paid. You get housing, which takes out a lot of stress when you are moving to a different country. They are reliable in paying on time.

Cons

The schedule is all over the place. You have no control of it and that can be stressful. However, this is pretty much how teaching English abroad goes. Very low pay for the amount of work you are expected to do.
