Pros
There are good people to work with at this firm
Cons
When I first started at Lane Powell, I was sold on a company that prided itself on employee longevity. Over the last year, the company has showed that loyalty is no longer valued. Between lay-offs and the loss of benefits (decreased vacation time, reduced holiday bonuses, elimination of longevity bonuses and the removal of small perks like monthly staff lunches/events), they have proven that their only concern is their profits. They even reduced the salaries of their entire Finance department, without warning, cutting their hours to 37.5 per week. Lane Powell is no longer competitive with other firms when it comes to pay, benefits and security.
