Pros
Salary is competitive and comparable to other Companies.
Cons
Very low PTO time. Accrual is 3.5 hours for the first year. 4.25 after that. PTO is used as sicktime and as vacation time.
Health insurance is astronomical if you have a family. Think $865 per paycheck. No Joke.
Christmas bonus first year is 0.035% of your regular check. After that its a grand or two.
Landpoint has the reputation of chewing through there Project Managers at a very high rate. They are put on overhead but "Encouraged" to be billable which in turn fosters a toxic culture. In turn PMs will not support the field crews in various ways. This will explain all the other reviews from Party Chiefs and Instrument men from Landpoint. This also puts alot of pressure on the PMs to neglect the people below them becuase they are so intent on keeping there jobs they dont have time.
View of field crews as expendable, if they dont have work thats ok mentality.
If management makes bad decisions that affect the company, at the end of the day it will be your fault. They cannot take responsibility for poor managerial decisions because it will open them up to liability.
When they terminate you they will lock you out of your account and your emails. This is standard industry but it plays into this. They will always write that you were fired for cause (insert policy, performance, insubordination, conduct violation). Plus since your locked out of your emails you cant prove anything.
They've let go all there top talent.
Strongly Suggest you avoid this company
