Pros
The work is interesting and fast paced. There is never a dull day. The stock compensation is good (due to current stock fluctuations), and bonuses are reliable. The small, motivated team of individual contributors is fun to work with.
Cons
Very toxic department. Lots of rushing around and very little clarity on what to do. Management backtracks on many key decisions. Little upward mobility. Lots of job roles outsourced to India, creating time zone problems with meetings very early or very late in the day. Management tolerates personal insults, favoritism, and retaliation. Lots of finger pointing between departments.
