Pros
The people at this facility are outstanding! I am an experienced ICU nurse who started here as a seasonal employee after being a traveler and loved it so much I stayed on as staff. The people make the difference. No matter where you go this is true. The staff at LWRMC really care about each other and the patients. There is something to be said about having a “work family” and that is exactly how I felt at this hospital. I always felt supported by my team. This facility is the place to go when you are looking for a seasonal contract or when you are ready to settle down and stay local. I hope to go back when I am done traveling 😁
Cons
Nursing rates in Florida are low compared to the rest of the country. This is not specific to this facility, just an overall negative for working as a nurse in the state of Florida.
