Pros
- Communication: there is transparency through the entire process. I know what is happening and why it is happening that way. There is always a purpose and it is always communicated thoroughly. - Support Structure: there is always help and there are individuals that give up their time to make sure your growth, knowledge, and skill set are congruent with your goals. You have a personal mentor that has gone through the program that guides you along your growth structure. The training, marketing strategies, and consumer psychology directly relates to real life and has been most beneficial to me not just in my business life but me personal life as well - no one is going to micro manage you but they train to have individuals become self sufficient in the industry. -travel opportunities!! Country wide conferences, different offices, different owners, the Rest & Relaxation, different markets, and the list goes on! - paid driving! I never realized this wasn't a typical thing in the business world but I am grateful to be one of the few that get to enjoy it! - Opportunity for growth: if you show you're motivated, they will provide you with opportunities to help you grow faster and grow from within the company.
Cons
It was a big change for me going from very part time work (18-22 hours a week) to full-time (40 hours a week). I was overwhelmed and exhausted at the end of the first few weeks but I have stuck with it and it has made all the difference! I'm looking forward to how fast I can move up through the company to attain my goals. This opportunity showed me that I didn't want to be ordinary.
