Not sure of any pros due to not experiencing them.
Cons
Pay is minimal at best and checks bounce at times. You get an IOU for raises and are promised raises once things get better. You are asked to perform just about anything. You are asked to be an electrician because the company doesn't want to spend the money to fix things. The turn over for employees are outrageous. They hire more people then they can afford then let them go due to budget cuts. No matter where you live you are asked to travel to any PSC with no notice. There is no management or a chain of command.
