Pros
Ability to participate in major projects, access to key decision makers at partner companies. Some technically competent professionals.
Cons
Bureaucracy. Slow and inefficient processes. Odd system of incentives which penalizes employees and managers for mistakes without incentivizing improvement, growth, and value addition resulting in general lack of motivation among staff. Lack of delegation (responsibilities, budget) top down management. Mistrust among managers mitigated by obtaining lots of signatures on official paper letters (very archaic).
