Pros

A lot of people trying to do the right thing

Cons

LRQA asked employees to write positive reviews for them. All this company cares about is making maximum profit for sale and they don’t care what they’ve got to do to get there, you will be completely overstretched, stressed and then fired for it anyway. I’ve never seen people just up and quit the way they do at LRQA.

We're sorry that you did not have the desired experience with us. We'd like to clarify our position on requesting reviews. Statistically, people are more likely to talk about/review experiences when it has not lived up to their expectations. We know from our engagement survey and interactions with employees that we do have a large proportion of people that would recommend LRQA as a place to work, including in the IT team where 91% of the survey participants responded 'yes' or 'maybe' to the question about recommending LRQA as a place to work. However, the more content employees are less likely to think about writing a Glassdoor review and sometimes need a prompt. As an organisation, of course we want to protect our reputation and provide potential employees with a more balanced view. We do not know who asked you to leave a review but the official LRQA request states, "We’d like to present a balanced view of the business so potential candidates can make a more informed decision about if LRQA is a good fit and opportunity for them. Please note, the request is for honest and constructive reviews." We are sorry you didn't have the experience you wanted, but this is not the case for everyone at LRQA. We do listen to our people, which is why we undertake two engagement surveys a year and provide monthly feedback sessions with our CEO and quarterly with our Executive Vice Presidents. We wish you all the best and hope you find something more suitable for you.

Pros

I come to work every day excited to work with an amazing set of colleagues, an impressive set of clients and brands, and I'm proud of the solutions we provide to our clients to help them manage their risks - from ESG, Responsible Sourcing, Cybersecurity, Food Safety, and QHSE just to name a few. Being part of the LRQA team means every employee has a voice, every idea is welcome, and collaboration is key. If you're a driven professional looking to make a difference, focused on delivering results, with high energy who is proactive, thrives while working at pace, and excited to work with an amazing team, LRQA is a great organization to work for.

Cons

Work-life balance is encouraged but can be a challenge because we have so much to achieve. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to set and stick to their working hours.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your 10 years of service. We’re glad to hear you value our clients, our people, and the flexibility of our hybrid model. We’re sorry to hear about your experience with workload, burnout, and leadership connection. We recognise the impact this can have and are investing in wellbeing initiatives and leadership development programmes. Looking at our most recent employee engagement surveys, we are pleased to say that we have progressed significantly in these areas and there are much higher levels of satisfaction with safety, wellbeing and leadership. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
