Pros

- Overall I feel well compensated and valued by my direct supervising executive director - Opportunity for health credits to lower insurance premiums - No weekends - Our core team has been together for a while which makes our processes efficient - PTO accural is generous with cash out opportunities, not issues using PTO either

Cons

- Insurance options are expensive considering we work for a healthcare company - Can't retain nurses nor a large team of sales associates - If there's not enough business they want you to use PTO to make up their potential losses, but when there's too much business they expect you to work over productivity. - Coverage areas have expanded and you are expected to cover other locations if they are over productive which means more drive time - Upper management lacks the overall understanding of how a good sales agent, good scheduler, and retaining nurses, etc. Are important for keeping other members of the team productive. - Upper management is fixated on numbers and revenue, and will go so far as to disregard the importance of employee retention and how it plays a role in effectiveness and revenue in the long run. So we have a high turnover because upper management can't see the forest through the trees.

Pros

LHC group is a good company to work for. They offered training and support from management. I would say a solid company culture from my experience. I felt supported and checked on by my team.

Cons

Cons depend on the agency you work for. I had a good experience with my location and team.

Pros

I worked there just short of a year. Cross training - opportunity to learn all aspects of administrative duties in small office setting was nice. Regional Manager was amazing. It seemed like a place I would have opportunity to advance.

Cons

Do not value their hard working employees. On call pay is a joke. I didnt mind putting in the extra time on weekends because I loved my job, and thought I would be a part of their team for years, potentially. Until I came in to work one morning and was let go, by the new office administrator, for attendance -which was a joke. I had over 16 hours of unused PTO and called out sick once in the 6 months she worked there. I never received any warning and was never written up for anything.
