Pros

I really loved most of the other employees! We had a lot of fun together and got along great. This is why I gave them 2 stars.

Cons

I was hired on at a very low pay rate and was not told that my position had been vacant for quite some time. The office was so far behind that we were constantly playing catch up. I never received any proper training. If I had not had a medical background I would have been totally lost. After working there for a bit and figuring most of my position out on my own, I found out that another lady with the same title and job as me was making over $5 more on the hour! I asked for a $3 raise. She had been there a couple of years longer so I thought that was very reasonable. Then every time something needed done the raise was dangled above my head. Months later I was STILL told they were "working" on my raise. The other lady left the company and they hired her replacement at the wage I requested! THEN had me train her!!!

Pros

Autonomy, days go by quick, expectations are defined.

Cons

Unmanageable workload/cases. Expected to fulfill number of points per week. Charting beyond business hours every day. Start of care visits also included hands on care. One visit took 3 hours because of 8 wounds and that didn’t include documentation. Oasis is tedious and comprehensive. Territory was supposed to be 10 minutes from home; it was not. Sometimes 45 minutes between each case with 5-6 cases for the day. Totally unmanageable for a seasoned and organized nurse. I cannot imagine how it would be for a less experienced nurse. Overworked and overwhelmed my entire time. I learned a lot from training modules but then you’re out on your own to troubleshoot. Unless you’re willing to hustle every single day and are willing to chart during dinner time and then still take time to confirm next day’s appointments, stay away.
