Monthly events, two weeks paid off at the end of the year, in-house gym and trainer. Some great individuals within a broken organization.
Cons
The values are no more than a slogan that is printed on paper and culture a team outing or happy hour. There is no support for the design, build and financial teams. Incomplete plans are contracted to the Client. Major scope gaps and client expectations not being conveyed are the norm causing confusion and frustration from the start. On the build side, each PM/PE is assigned to 4 or 5 projects at one time. There are no processes in place to ensure the work is streamlined and milestones being met. Each project runs differently depending on the personality of the Project Manager. There is no oversight in regards to project status until the entire thing is so upside down in budget and schedule. The priority is turn around, not quality nor efficiency. Those with the title of 'senior' have it for time, not knowledge or competency. Going above and beyond the job at hand will only create a baseline for what is expected. No compensation was provided as it was considered 'training'. When all milestones for promotion were met, there was no title change and now the expectation of producing more was required. Total burn out and total disappointment.
