Bad management who think it's acceptable to bully and patronise staff. Lack of training - hire people from non-scientific backgrounds and expect them to do scientific jobs without sufficient training. Wages do not reflect what is expected of staff. Some junior members of staff were lovely but treated abysmally by senior staff. Worst place I have ever worked by a mile and it was a massive relief to leave.
