Good company that offers goods benefits, always paid in time

Lack of communication, not always fairness

Employee profit sharing Christmas bonus, Long service bonuses: 1 week additional holiday after 15 years, a gift to the value of a weeks pay after 20 years for employees brave enough for the long haul. Was originally a strong family company with previously good employee values.

Lack of internal or professional training in all departments, management often lacks knowledge in the day to day running of a department. Little or no opportunity to progress within the company- promotions tend to be rather political, based on who you know rather than what you know, lower than average or minimum wage in all areas below management, no formally trained or neutral HR/Personnel department- employees with issues must report directly to MD or Production Director. Poor job security with insubstantial reasons for termination of jobs. Turnover of staff is becoming faster in recent years. No flexibility in working hours for employee issues. Management asks employees to avoid medical appointments in working hours and employees are frowned upon when this is not possible.
