Pros

Good working staff, good private health, thats about all currently.

Cons

- LG will not offer anyone remote working, its strictly 5 days a week in the office, no trust whatsoever or flexibility from Korean management > LG are stuck about 20 years behind in their ways of working, the cultural Korean difference is forced upon local workers, expectations to work late, work when demanded or be a general lapdog to Korean management > LG offers no chance of career progression unless you are Korean and willing to churn out meaningless reports or "do as you are told" by Korean expats and directors > Senior Korean expats arrive every 4 years and their only interest is to self promote and add to their personal CV, there is no care or support to long standing local staff. - LG suffered over a 20% turnover of staff in 2021 DURING its best sales year on record, go figure LG management/LG HR/LG Korean Senior management - if you are reading this then please dont ignore, change fast or risk losing what knowledge base you have, adapt and understand its 2022 and flexible working is common and well established to improve staff morale and a balanced working life. The company is being run into the ground, someone please do something about it!

Pros

LG used to be my dream job. 5 years ago, Every good part of LG ended. They preach all day about wellness, work life balance, and investing in their employees. And they used to do just that but not any more. Their 100% paid insurance is literally the only perk and its a trap.

Cons

They take motivated and competent individuals and shackle them with the workload of 5 or 6 people while telling them they aren't good enough, not doing enough, even though they are somehow finding a way to juggle all of the immense workload. PTO is a joke and no one respects it, they will call and ask you to work on your PTO, on weekends and at 10pm. They have no shame. The compensation is entirely below the bar even with 100% paid insurance. Promotions & Raises? Those only go to Koreans. Its gone so far down hill in the last 5 years. The culture in that office is so toxic but the job market is so restricted that you can't leave.
