Pros

there are some good people at this company, but they give the good people little to no power to promote other good people, leaving other people with little to no motivation. once you hit the glass ceiling, your next destination is out, only thing unclear is if your leaving voluntary, or involuntary. there are great benefits, and solid pay.

Cons

If your aren't Korean, or one of the Good Ole boys, moving up in this company is a fantasy. you'll be able to get a solid position, where they'll pretty much bury you, with little to no possibility to move up, There is a unspoken glass ceiling in this company, for women, non whites, and non Koreans.

Pros

LG used to be my dream job. 5 years ago, Every good part of LG ended. They preach all day about wellness, work life balance, and investing in their employees. And they used to do just that but not any more. Their 100% paid insurance is literally the only perk and its a trap.

Cons

They take motivated and competent individuals and shackle them with the workload of 5 or 6 people while telling them they aren't good enough, not doing enough, even though they are somehow finding a way to juggle all of the immense workload. PTO is a joke and no one respects it, they will call and ask you to work on your PTO, on weekends and at 10pm. They have no shame. The compensation is entirely below the bar even with 100% paid insurance. Promotions & Raises? Those only go to Koreans. Its gone so far down hill in the last 5 years. The culture in that office is so toxic but the job market is so restricted that you can't leave.
