Pros
The company pays for Christmas parties away overnight every year at Blue Mountain or Muskoka. This is great! Small company, coworkers are very good, many people have been there for a long time, it's like family. Pay is ok, flexible schedule is good because you have freedom, benefits are good. Good social club for group outings.
Cons
Many bad changes happening because of new employees and people in management. No management skills, just engineers who have been promoted. Many changes happen without telling employees. Being a shareholder is good, but you never know about your bonus, and management doesn't give any information. this is very frustrating. My manager is never in the office. New employees are treated better and become shareholders right away, but there are many employees who are not. You have to work a lot of overtime (not paid), instead of hiring more people for big projects.
