Cons
The total package may seem like a great offer however, most if not all expenses necessary to be successful, such as local business networking meetings and memberships, come out of your pocket for field marketing. These expenses are only reimbursed up to 25%. All commissions are split 50%, after the company deduct all cost which are marked up an additional 10% on top of what ever the fixed cost may be to the company. Owners don't care much about the gross profit that reps are paid on because they profit from financing and markups on the backend and will therefore be ok with reps taking a loss on a deal just to close it for the company with minimal payout. How much commission you can make determines on who you know to remove misc expenses. Everyone wears multiple hats which causes confusion as there is no standardized way to do anything. Also very little opportunity for career advancement.
