      Pros

      Management is always accessible and listens to employees Multiple lines of business allow opportunities to those who work hard and show initiative There is no micro-managing here, so long as the work gets done in a timely manner Examiners are as independent as they wish to be Fair compensation Scheduling flexibility, if needed (such as requesting to stay local) and generous PTO No discontent among employees, and employees are not ruthless.

      Cons

      There is substantial travel involved. Yes. To respond to another reviewer: The fact that travel is a part of the job is not a secret. Not a con for this Company. It's a fact of the job. All Field Examiners travel. Hence the word "Field".

      Pros

      If you are someone who learns quickly, and likes accounting, invoices, and excel. You will like the job.

      Cons

      Even at an entry level position, if you are not good at the role in as little as 2 weeks. You are not meeting expections. Most companies offer a 6 month to a year ramp up period. Not LCG. You have to hit the ground running. The practice of analyzing asset based lending is not about thinking through it as a system. So, if you are a deep logical thinker who enjoys system type thinking. ABL is jot for you. This field is for people who like excel and have file cabinet brains, and just enjoy the process of putting things in the right spot. It’s hard to explain. It’s a great place to work for those who are built for it.
