      Very flexible allowing for good work-life balance, handy if you have kids. Wider wallet scheme is good.

      Cons

      They don't allow remote working, and HR are not very compassionate in this area. The workforce is older, the council is not very good at attracting or nurturing talent

      The council as an employer has become very diverse in recent years which has helped in attracting some very brilliant employees.

      Cons

      Too many restructures in over past two years.
