Pros
It's convenient to the LA Metro (Blue Line and Expo Line). Admin buildings are relatively new. People are certainly interested in higher education and workforce development.
Cons
Leadership is a mess and possibly corrupt. Communication between departments is bad and some departments have very unfriendly work environment. For a college that's 90+ years old, the place runs the opposite of a well-oiled machine. LACCD (district) offices have no concept of customer service. HR and HR webpages are an outdated joke, and people don't pick up the phone when you call.
