Pros

Compensation is good. Work with an elite clientele. High tech environment requiring serious training.

Cons

Not for lazy or non-serious workers. Management is tough because we are expected to be the best.

Pros

Forbes training Comp lunch Locker rooms showers Nice coworkers not management

Cons

This place is ruled by Hitler and minions. Be expected to be micromanaged about everything Stand as a doorman when your not working. Clean the glasses when it's the conceirge's job. If a chair is slightly crooked or products slightly out of place you'll get scolded. The pay is relatively low compare to other spas. And this is suppose to be a luxury place. Every two weeks you get a messed up paycheck. You never get paid properly even though it's money you earn. They forgot to include tips or services you did. People dont clean up and you have to pick up after them otherwise it's your fault. I wouldn't work here. True about people pocketing your tips. The guests give the conceirge money that they are suppose to add to the end of the day report but they put it in their pockets. Management is disorganized. Your schedule always changes. You never have proper supplies to work with. Somethings always missing or never ordered in the first place. Clientele is slow. So even though the commission is decent you never make it because there are days you sit around and do nothing and just get paid base. There is no culture in the spa. They do not value you or appreciate you because the "guest is first." I don't know how the spa makes money except for massages there is hardly anyone that comes there because the prices are outrageous. Facials start at $690. But you'll never see that number on your paycheck not even close.
