Pros

Opportunities to work on leading edge problems, a lot of room to learn and grow as an engineer from senior devs. Pretty awesome benefits, flex acct, etc.

Cons

Company gets together once a year for training and collaboration, that is really the only time Denver and DC office get together as a whole.

Pros

Small company that has a lot of opportunity to contribute to a lot of really awesome projects.

Cons

Keeping up with larger conglomerate government contractors can mean lots of matrixing and putting in hours to grow in our field.

Pros

Great benefits and pay. Yearly training budget, cell phone/internet reimbursement, FSA, yearly office improvement budget, monthly health stipend for a gym membership, etc. The people who work here are some of the coolest, social, and well rounded in the industry. Even the technical folks have actual hobbies outside of work. The technical projects are super important, interesting and challenging. The company and those in charge seem to genuinely care about your overall well being. When possible they will go out of their way to find you work that is fulfilling and interesting among the projects available. The back office folks are so easy to work with and go above and beyond. No room to slack off, always pushing you to grow and learn and be a contributor to the project. Most of those in leadership are amazing, humble, and approachable.

Cons

Increased silo-ing of projects as company grows Less mingling of employees between different company sites (Sterling vs Denver) as the company grows Less internal company sponsored growth opportunities Less investment in formal mentoring programs/stricter rules on what counts as mentorship
