Pros

Shift bonuses and overtime bonuses.

Cons

ZERO communication between anyone unless they have something to complain about. Upper management asleep at the wheel. Employees will lie, cheat and fake their rates, by skipping processes, lowerung quality and writing off part from other people. and without looking into it the managers will accept those rates as the goal, and anyone doing honest work gets effed over and overworked because youll get pulled into an office to get complained at about not making the impossible rate while you have to spend half your time fixing the returned failed parts of the prior shift thats buffing the rate through sketchy practices. But don't tell mike pachyak that. He's so sure they're perfect angels. Two of them had been sabotaging my workstation and lying about how i leave it, one would steal my trash can and hide it every day, i gave up looking for it after the third replacement and stopped telling management and hr about it because they wouldn't do anything to their precious rate makers. One went to human resources to spin a tale so i was called in one day. And WOULDN'T YOU BELIEVE IT, THEY GAVE MY CASE TO SOMEONE IN TRAINING! And i got effed over and written up because they just believe whoever talks louder! This doesn't even begin to describe the self centered-ness of the workers and management. Atoo that, the overall condition if the workplace is a mess. Loose tools, fasteners and hardware laud everywhere. Oil and coolant leaks left to simply do their thing and make puddles beneath the million dollar machines they seeped from. It coats every surface and no effort is made to remedy it. Machines break frequently and dull tooling is changed infrequently. If you out in for time off you have to remind Mike hourly otherwise he wont remember and youll discover thst the day you took off was completely unpaid. This has happened to me more times than i could count on one hand. 2 years ago it was getting really slow but they said they had no plans of layoffs. This year they let go of a few early on, then said there would be no more. What an obvious lie, they said that to placate the surviving crew and prevent people from choosing to leave so they could benefit from squeezing more out of us. Months ago i said i wanted a warning before getting laid off. I didn't get one. One day i was working per usual, doing a job that wasn't mine, i was aked to work the weekend, now multiple weeks in a row afternive told mike in early Summer that id ben spending every weekend up north helping build a house and work on my family's cabin. He never remembers anything. But the very next day after being asked to work a weekend, i was laid off permanently "because theres no work" what a bunch of lying corporate drones. I got no warning, ive made it clear that if id get let go i wouldn't have any savings or anything because i didn't get oaid enough, i had been working in my own free time to make ends meet and sometimes it even overlapped. But they dont care, none if them do. You know what the bug guy said to me "theres no easy way to say this" i cut him off, i didn't want to hear it. Hed saud that same thing to 10 others that day, i wont entertain a full sentence ifnit isn't truthful. Its super easy, you did it ten times the exact same. Anyway, thats Kurt. An abusive environment that hails numbers above all without thinking twice about how the numbers are reached. Filled with people who will push you into the sea if it meant an extra place on a sinking lifeboat.

Pros

It was a decent job. Wasn't great It was better than some jobs I had at the time

Cons

Pay structure still lives in the '80s benefits. Still live in the '80s and they expect you to do lots of work. Pay you very little and treat you like it. You're a child but try to act like it's family. In other words, they're going to not pay you what you're worth Making custodians build boxes when the managers are perfectly capable of doing this or they could get someone else to do this that are skilled at this, especially since we're not even getting paid for that job when the people who that being the managers are getting extra money for building boxes but having us build it. That's BS and are being used as in indentured servitude
