Had a good experience but not a good time to join - Data Scientist Kubrick Group Employee Review

This is a good place to go to grow and explore new skills lots of great people to work with here and it was a great place to start my career. The business has grown and changed over the past 3 years I’ve been here and before it had a more start up feel, now it’s reforming to more of the consultancy track.

Low pay compared to other consultancies.

Friendly environment Pay for accomodation if training from US to UK

Unreliable structure where HR is not only hard to get a hold of, but is not transparent with other departments, leading to various miscommunications to consultants. The training is generally positive (and the trainers are all amazing), but it is not structured in a way that is comparable to other firms. The main thing with Kubrick is LAYOFFS. They over-hire and train them, and lay off people who have just completed training or still training. The bench period after training is expected to be 2-3 months, and you have no very little say in what kind of clients you are to get. I took this job on a leap of faith, and to anyone looking for a entry in data and consulting, stay clear. If you want a way to be in London for 3 months then sure go ahead, but a stable career after? Not so sure.
