Pros
Flexible schedule, commission on sales, freedom to work at your own pace as long as you bring in sales figures. I learned what to avoid in other employers and realized that you're better off starting your own operation.
Cons
The company will promise you things based on a "ghost" business structure that they persuade you to believe exists. Management has no idea how to improve the business and will take everyone's proposed ideas, then introduce them to the owner as their own. Products being sold are of low to very low quality which in terms mean you find yourself screwing people over for their money. The commission structure was changed several times while working for this company, each time after employees started asking questions about the structure itself.
Overall, if you're looking for a place with no long-term opportunity to sell mediocre products online with no real help from management; this place is for you. If you're not a self-starter and can't produce numbers via online sales without proper training, look elsewhere.
What I learned was mostly from select coworkers, which are no longer with the company. The few that are left have been with the company for many years and are of no true benefit to the operation.
