A number of managers appear to have advanced primarily through personal relationships with the Managing Director rather than competence, resulting in poor management practices and weak accountability. Opportunities for career progression and learning are uneven: Saudis or Emirati employees (if any) have limited advancement and development, while Indian and Lebanese employees are doing fine.
