Pros

Koombea is a great place to learn, grow and discover your place and interests as a professional, is really easy to feel comfortable, the HR team really knows how to surprise you from time to time to gifts and rewards for your efforts, and in general, if you land in an interesting project it can be a really fulling experience! where you can give your opinions, give ideas, and have a great learning experience in the process. I'm really grateful for the experiences and all the knowledge I gained in Koombea, all the trust that they give me to implement new strategies and methodologies to the team

Cons

One of the biggest downfalls of Koombea is the lack of leadership and career vision, once you have grown and learned all the possible things you could learn in the workspace is easy to feel trapped in the same circle, where the same management human mistakes are repeated in a loop, the lack of planning, internal team organization really can affect your performance as a professional. For a company that big, with that experience, you would expect a better internal organization, managing task and overall a more structured career path to help you grow in the company and do not feel like an asset but more like an important colaborator.

Pros

Koombea does a great job at setting the bar high so everyone that works there is not only intelligent but emotionally aware which is refreshing. The culture at any of the city offices is similar to Google or Silicon Valley "vibes" Some other things to consider: - most everyone at Koombea is fluent in English / Spanish as a min. - you can spend days at a time immersed in a mobile app, problem solving a technology solution for another company - timezones can get tricky with clients all over the world - Koombea is generally well respected across several industries

Cons

it could be stressful for someone looking for a slow pace of things, projects change often and are set to be done quickly. Also I've seen a couple people post about no way to move up professionally, but it seems like career paths at Koombea are attainable if you work with management on a plan or offer to work at another office location.
