Pros
They show themselves as a business consultancy for startups, as an MBB alum, I haven’t seen a worse consultancy. They don’t have any clients (maybe 1 once in a while) even if they do the projects will take a month to get through the proposal stage. The founders are the real culprits, they do not know how to manage a company, worse at people management. It’s an absolute joke that a company like this exists and is still in business. The founders always sit in a meeting room across the hall and badmouth the employees, but they won’t say anything directly to you, you’ll partially hear things through someone. They have a cycle where they want to change the way they do things, they fire the entire teams and hire new folks and a couple months later they do the entire process again. I too was let go in 45 days, reason given was that I was late in the morning, however when I show up on time, the office is empty, and when the founders do decide to come in they spend half the day not interacting and there’s no work, suddenly at 4 the founder comes up and asks for a meeting and dump some task on you completely unrelated to the projects, as they don’t have any clients. Won’t learn anything here. Also, the marketing head, the business development head was also let go right after me. The only reason I put all this under a pro was because most people find startup consulting lucrative as a learning experience, but that doesn’t exist here
Cons
Everything here is a con, the founders are extremely self centred, they will deduct a salary of 2 days every month, without any justification. You won’t be allowed to wfh, and if you do it after speaking with the manager, they count it as a leave. I didn’t even receive my offer letter for the entire time I was there. There is absolutely no sense of responsibility here. Be extremely careful about what you say to the founders, they get offended. You won’t know if when they do, you’ll hear it later from someone they ask to tell you. This company is a bunch of red flags and I saw it on day 1. The founders will pretend to give you some unrelated task and pretend it’s to prepare you for projects, only to never give any feedback. No clear communication channels, I was a part of the first client meeting, the second one they decided not to involve me. If I’m working on the project, how would I know the client and their business if I’m not a part of the client meetings? Please do yourself a favour and don’t come anywhere close to this company, or the subsidiary they have started calling Pathfinder, they’re both the same
