Upper management refuses to allow the branch to have enough workers. It takes 30-45 days to get a repair crew if the work is non-billable. The branch can have as many workers as needed for billable work but when that runs out people in the billable department get laid off while there's a 30 day backlog of non-billable repairs to be done. Also, the company expects maintenance to follow a one size fits all maintenance method that rarely applies to non-kone equipment. If I followed it then all my generators would be trash because checking brushes isn't in the plan!
