Pros

- the pay was $16 an hour with tips

Cons

- very poor training, management would constantly contradict themselves with the direction and training they give you. - very very concerning lack of food safety standards, they shouldn't be running a bakery if they think there's nothing wrong with letting pastries sit directly on glass. - doesn't give or offer breaks, even if you're working more than 5 hours which the law allows for at least a 30 min unpaid lunch break and 15 min rest break. this is incredibly shady and horrible. -management is constantly micromanaging about uniforms and other things, but will fail to inform you about these things while training you. -they will also try not to send your last paycheck to you. i waited almost a month for my last paycheck and it took me having to call them directly asking for its whereabouts for it to magically appear a week later. straight up lied to my face and said it was sent to the address i gave to them.

Great coffee, half off legit NY bagels, pastries, unique muffins, work closely with owners, great company culture, they hire good people

Cons

This is NYC, so space is tight. Wood floors have to be swept carefully and scrubbed often.
